My passion for creating eye-catching and informative point-of-sale ads (otherwise known as shelf talkers in the adult beverage industry) was my ultimate secret weapon as a wine professional, going back my first retail job. As a sales rep, these little signs were invaluable to attract customers’ attention: I worked for smaller companies with brands that were far less known, so that little extra bit of information made buying my wines less scary for customers. This was probably, really, the beginning of my entire design career. I made hundreds of these; these are a few of my favorites.
